1. Open guides.co/register (or Sign up from the homepage).
2. Enter your name, email, and password - no profile photo or username required.
3. Confirm your email if prompted.
4. You land on Reader with Welcome to Guides featured - read it, then bookmark this guide for your eval.
5. Create a portal at portal.guides.co/portals/new - simulates a client org workspace (required for this pilot).
6. Settings → Connect an AI when you want notebook mode or API keys (Section 2).

Already have an account? Log in at guides.co/login.

What you have now:

• A personal account with the welcome guide in your library
• Reader for saved guides and continue reading
• Studio (create.guides.co) for creating and publishing
• A portal for org-scoped publishing and integration keys
