Reference vs notebook

Two ways to use Guides with an AI - do not mix them up:

Your personal account is the publisher for guides you create in Studio. New accounts get a Notebooks channel for agent-written drafts.

  • Notebook mode needs a GDF API key from Studio → Connect an AI.
  • Reference mode uses public URLs like /g/{slug}/gdf (prefer GDF JSON; plaintext is a fallback).

Org portals use the same key machinery at Settings → Integrations.
